In a big mixing bowl, add all the ingredients of making baati and knead the dough using warm water.

Then take small portion of dough and make baati with light hands..bake it in oven at 160° for 15-20 mins..then flip it and bake for more 8-10 mins..dip baati in melted ghee before serving 😊
Now for making dal, dry roast whole spices and grind into a fine powder.keep it aside.
Take tomatoes, green chillies, ginger, onion, garlic and coriander in a mixer jar and grind it in a smooth paste.
Heat ghee in a pan add jeera and whole spices powder cook it for few seconds then add masala paste cook for 5-6 minutes on low medium flame.
Now add haldi, red chilli powder, garam masala, amchur powder and sugar..cook for more 4-5 minutes.
Add boiled and mashed dal, salt and water according to the consistency you want.
Cook for 2-3 minutes garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Now for making baingan bharta, heat oil in a pan..add jeera and whole spices, onion, garlic, green chilli and grated ginger..cook for few minutes or till the onion turns golden brown.
Then add in all the spices and chopped tomato.
Cook till tomato gets soft and oil starts seperating the sides of masala.
Then add methi leaves, mashed baingan and salt.
Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot hot dal baati baingan bharta along with pickle and some salad.
