  5. Add the onions and saute them on a high flame for about 2-3 minutes. - Now add the capsicum pieces as well and saute further.
  6. Now in a bowl take half glass water and add cornflour, soya sauce, vinegar, colour, ketchup, ajinomoto and salt to the water in the bowl. give it a mix to avoid any lumps. - pour this mix in the pan so as to make the gravy /sauce for the paneer.
  7. When there is a certain luster in the gravy, add the fried paneer pieces followed by green chillies and coriander leaves.

Add fried paneer cubes and salt to taste. (do not add too much salt as the stock cube also contains salt). Add vinegar and boil for a min or so. In a typical Chilli Paneer recipe, the fried paneer cubes are tossed in a sweet, sour, spicy sauce. The paneer cubes can be coated with flours or batter coated and deep fried. The dry version of chilli paneer is served as a starter or appetizer snack.
