  1. In a bowl take flour,1/2 tsp Salt,1/2 tsp ajwain, and oil and mix everything well until you get coarse crumbs.add little water at a time and knead to make a firm and smooth dough.cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  2. In an another bowl mix shattu,1/2 tsp ajwain,grated ginger,garlic,chopped onion,green chilli,chopped Corriender,salt and lemon juice.mix well to combine all the ingredients. If you find that mixture is too dry then add some little water to make a lumpy mixture. Keep this aside.
  3. Make small sized ball from the wheat flour dough and roll it like poori. Hold the poori between your palm and fill 1 large spoon of sattu mixture filling into the poori.
  4. Gather the sides of the poori and bring them together on to pant seal the ball.press the ball gently to flatten it. Proceed to make litti the similar way and arrange them on a greased baking tray. Brush the litti with ghee,so the tops get crisp while baking.
  5. Preheat the oven at 180degree and place the litti on greased tray and Bake for 20-30 minutes. Bake for golden brown completely. Flip the litti another side and Bake for another 10 minutes.
  6. Once baked remove from oven and serve hot with aaloo chokha,baigan chokha and ghee.
