  1. Prepare a stiff batter with dal, coriander leaves green chillies,chat masala and salt
  2. Heat oil and fry pakoras (bora) and keep aside
  3. Now add cumin seed and bay leaf
  4. Add ginger paste and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder
  5. Add tomato,red chilli Powder and cumin coriander powder
  6. Add Potatoes and saute well add water and simmer till the veggies get cooked well
  7. Add pakoras and sugar,garam masala powder and serve

If you are not planning to serve the curry right away then prepare the gravy and store it. Once you are ready to serve add the fritters and cook for a couple of minutes.
